Yes. The BAFA consulting programme subsidises AI and digitalisation consulting for SMEs at 50 percent in the western federal states and up to 80 percent in the eastern states and Berlin. Innovation projects with a genuine development component are funded by the Central Innovation Programme for SMEs (ZIM) at up to 60 percent. Training can be funded under the Qualifizierungschancengesetz, and there are state programmes such as the Digitalbonus on top. spyke advises on the right funding and helps with the application. One thing matters: the application has to be filed before the project starts, and we plan for that from the outset.

Yes. spyke implements AI solutions in the cloud, hybrid, or entirely on premise on your own servers, GDPR compliant and with clear access rights. With European providers such as Mistral and self-hosted models such as Gemma or Qwen, full control over your data stays inside your company.

That depends on your existing IT landscape, your processes and your compliance requirements. spyke is vendor independent and recommends the system that fits your company, usually on the basis of licences you already hold. Making that call is part of our consulting.

Usually not. spyke works first with the systems you already run, for example Microsoft 365 with Copilot and Power Automate. No sprawl: only where a legacy system genuinely will not work do we recommend a replacement, and we say why.
